Falling Like Leaves

Ellis has her future mapped out: ace her senior year, get into Columbia's journalism program, and build the career she's always wanted. But those plans are thrown into chaos when her parents separate, forcing her to leave New York City and move with her mom to the small town of Bramble Falls, Connecticut.

Ellis remembers Bramble Falls as a picture-perfect place, but it's full of distractions she doesn't need - including Cooper Barnett, her former best friend and first kiss, who now wants nothing to do with her. Between helping with her aunt's beloved Falling Leaves Festival and getting swept up in apple picking, pumpkin carving, and other autumn traditions, Ellis finds herself falling for the charming town and its quirky residents. As her return to Manhattan keeps getting postponed, she must decide which future truly feels like home.
