Cellugel

Cellugel is a specialized leather consolidant developed by professional book conservators to treat powdery, deteriorated leather—especially red rot. Composed of hydroxpropyl cellulose and isopropanol, it penetrates deeply into the leather's structure and dries within minutes, leaving no residue, discoloration, or surface film. Its archival-safe formulation makes it ideal for sizing paper and stabilizing fragile bindings without altering the appearance or texture of the material.
