Gather

Ian Gray isn't supposed to have a dog, but he adopts one anyway, and Gather quickly becomes his companion as Ian leaves the basketball team, gets a job, and helps care for his mother during her struggle with opioid addiction. Determined to hold his family together, he finds some stability through new friendships and work fixing things for neighbors.

But after an unexpected tragedy, Ian and Gather go on the run to avoid losing their home and land. Even with support from the community, Ian must face whether there will still be a place for them to return to.
