It Came from the Creek

Something is seriously wrong with Lorane Creek. The water has turned a strange color, the smell is awful, and people are getting sick. Determined to figure out why, Katy and her best friend, Joel, begin documenting what's happening and discover a man secretly dumping dangerous waste into the creek.

But even after he's told to stop, the dumping continues. Katy and Joel realize the problem isn't so different from the bullies they face at school - both count on people being too afraid to stand up to them. Now the friends and their community must find the courage to fight back before the creek, and everything depending on it, is damaged for good.
