Idalee Lovett dreams of becoming a songwriter and hearing her country music played on the radio someday. While her mother spends the summer touring with her band, Idalee stays behind in their old North Carolina home, determined to chase her musical ambitions.

Hoping to earn enough money to buy a guitar she has her eye on, Idalee sets out on a treasure hunt inside her family's house. With the help of new friends and a lovable dog named Wishbone, she discovers that the greatest rewards may be the friendships and self-confidence she finds along the way.
