Continental Drifter

Kathy grows up between two cultures with a Thai mother and an American father. Most of the year she lives in Bangkok, counting down the days until summer vacation, when her family makes a long twenty-four-hour journey to a small seaside town in Maine.

Kathy loves Maine's peaceful coast and the treats she can't find back home, like clam chowder and blueberry pie. Yet she struggles to fit in with the other kids in the rural New England town. Unsure where she truly belongs, Kathy wonders if home is in America, Thailand, or somewhere in between.
