With the baker away on a trip, Ember gets his chance to take charge and prove what he can do! But when a very opinionated fairy princess swoops in demanding a cake, Ember may have bitten off more than he can chew. Sure, he's only ever baked bread before, but how hard could cake really be?

Things quickly get messy when Ember's first attempt turns into a sugary disaster. He tries again and again, but his royal customer remains unimpressed. Ember thought he was a pretty good baker, so why can't he get this right? If he doesn't figure it out soon, humble pie may be the only thing he's serving.
