Sentry EM Bookwand™

Sentry EM Bookwand is the only portable, hand-held EM reactivator available to libraries. Rapidly reactivate multiple books and media items (CDs and DVDs) while the items are on a cart and spines are face up, individually, in groups or when they are shelved. Remove the wand from the charging station, press and hold the ON button while drawing the cylinder of the wand across the spine of the book. It doesn't matter if the security strips are placed in the gutter of the book or the spine, the reactivation process is the same. When the wand is OFF, it can be used to deactivate security strips. The unit operates on rechargeable batteries and does not need to be plugged in during use.
