Hour of the Pumpkin Queen is the thrilling sequel to Long Live the Pumpkin Queen, continuing Sally Skellington's journey one year after her wedding to Jack. Though she reigns as Queen of Halloween Town, Sally feels stretched thin by royal duties, her ties to Dream Town, and her desire to unite the citizens of the Hinterlands. During her inaugural Halloween exhibition, a potion demonstration goes awry, and Sally—along with her new rag doll apprentice, Luna—falls through a mysterious portal into Time Town. There, they discover that someone has tampered with the clock controlling Halloween Town, trapping Sally outside her own timeline.

To return home, Sally must uncover the culprit and reset time itself. As she and Luna travel through new realms, encountering allies and adversaries, Sally begins to question what kind of future she truly wants—and what she may have to sacrifice to protect it.
