HamiltonBuhl® Edison Robot Kits

The HamiltonBuhl Edison Robot Kit is a versatile and engaging educational tool designed for use in classrooms, makerspaces, or at home. Offered in single kits, multi-packs, and full class packs, the Edison Robot helps students from kindergarten through twelfth grade explore robotics, programming, and STEM concepts through hands-on learning and play. With the ability to detect obstacles, follow lines, sense light, and respond to sound, Edison introduces fundamental robotics functions in a fun and interactive way. It features infrared and sound sensors, and it can even be controlled using a standard TV or DVD remote.

The robot arrives with preloaded functions that can be triggered simply by driving over the included barcode cards. For more advanced learning, free downloadable software allows students to write and upload their own programs from a computer. The top and sides of the robot feature Lego® compatible plates, making it easy to build custom structures or link multiple Edison robots together to create complex systems. Grades: K-12.
