Excellent concept
Sep 30, 2026These book holders are amazing. They clip and hold books upright as expected. The area for a label is really nice also, especially for the non-fiction section. It is a 5-star product if you have shelves that aren't really deep. They are fairly durable and really easy to slide back and forth to keep the books upright. They don't tip over like standard book-end products - this is my favorite feature of these book ends.
I'm giving it 4-stars based on these two things. 1) If your shelves are deep and books are constantly getting pushed to the back, these are not quite long enough to continue to work properly for most non-fiction book sizes. I've overcome this by putting boxes behind my books so they don't get pushed to the back of the shelf. 2) they don't work on my bottom shelves because my shelves are double-thick on the bottom, so the clip part doesn't spread enough to use there without breaking.
One last drawback to these is the price. Even on sale they run too close to $5.00 each, which adds up fast. I'd like to get some for closer to $2.00 a piece and I'd really like them more if they used recycled plastic.
