Hurricane Heist

When a Category Three hurricane strikes Miami Beach, it reveals a body buried at the famous Moroccan Hotel. The remains are identified as the hotel's former bell captain, who disappeared sixty years earlier after being blamed for a million-dollar jewel theft.

Realizing the bell captain couldn't have escaped with the stolen jewels, the Sherlock Society sets out to find the true thief. With help from Alex and Zoe's grandfather, who knew the bell captain, and a group of retired federal agents, they reopen the decades-old case. But if the real criminal was also responsible for the bell captain's murder, someone is determined to keep the truth hidden - no matter how much time has passed.
