Dewey Decimal Subject Listings Laminated Poster

In libraries across the country, the Dewey Decimal System has been keeping books in order by subject for almost 150 years. This incredibly adaptable system makes sure that books are sorted and shelved near other books that are related to the same subject. The ten subject divisions of the Dewey Decimal System are displayed, appropriately, on a stack of books. To narrow down their search to a more specific sub-heading, additional text along the margins has been added. This instructional poster helps students locate the section of call numbers where students might find the book(s) they are looking for.
