Seal Shield's washable keyboards and mice have been developed in response to the demand from libraries, schools, and health care organizations for technology solutions that can be washed and disinfected quickly and easily. They are submersible, waterproof, washable and completely dishwasher safe!

Now users can regularly wash these frequently used products thoroughly and safely by simply putting them in the dishwasher or washing them in a sink of warm, soapy water. Many Seal Shield products also incorporate exclusive Silver Seal™ protection. This antimicrobial protection is achieved by embedding silver ions in the plastic and/or silicon from which the products are made. These ions help resist microbial growth and inhibit the spread of bacteria in busy, public environments.

Seal Shield corded products feature Quick Connect™, including a short USB cable with Gold connector and Seal Cap™ attached, and an 8-foot USB extension cable that stays connected to the PC. When it is time to wash the unit, simply disconnect the Quick Connect™ cable, leave the extension cable attached to the computer, put the Seal Cap™ over the connector and wash! No more crawling around under desks or moving equipment to disconnect or reconnect keyboard or mouse!
