Filmoplast Archival Paper Mending & Hinging Tape
Filmoplast is a mending tape that has been used for decades by conservators on books, documents and works of art on paper. The pressure-sensitive adhesive is both acid and solvent free and the tape has been buffered to a slightly alkaline level (pH of 8.8) to counter acids found in papers derived from wood pulp. Filmoplast P can be removed and repositioned immediately after application, setting after 24 hours. Tape looks and feels like the original paper.
